The extension of the Bush Tax Cuts enacted in "The Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010" has not only preserved the 2010 tax rates but it has also retroactively extended an important provision that expired at the end of 2009. The work on the additional classrooms began several weeks ago and is proceeding well. The science laboratory is about to be completed. It is the long building with a green roof near the classrooms. Dr. Gary Ivins laid the foundation of this building.
We received 20 used computers from Computers for Africa for the school. The computers will be installed in the one of the new classrooms when they are completed.

On April 14th President Yoweri Museveni visited Pader District. His helicopter landed in the soccer field at the school late in the afternoon. Msgr. Matthew, Sr. Viola Akullo (Headmistress), the staff and students warmly greeted him with singing and clapping. Some staff and students had the opportunity to shake hands with President Museveni.
