Evangelization
Evangelization is proclamation/sharing the Good News of God's love and mercy for humanity.
By Baptism, we are all called to be heralds of the Good News of God's saving deeds in the world.
Jesus came into the world to save humanity from sin, death and everything that enslaves and dehumanizes
human dignity such as poverty, sickness, oppression, exploitation, ignorance and injustice. His greatest
friends were sinners, the poor and the marginalized.
There are three ways to get involved in the EVANGELIZING MISSION of the church:
1.You can evangelize from your home by PRAYING
for the success of the ministry of the church.
2. You can evangelize through your support to the work of the church on behalf of the poor by
SHARING YOUR RESOURCES to make a difference in the
lives of the poor.
3. You can evangelize by GOING TO THE MISSION
to spread the Good News of God's love.
Our benefactors can help in spreading the word to let people know and get involved in the work we are doing
in Northern Uganda: e.g. supporting the education of seminarians at Sacred Heart Seminary,
the construction of Archbishop Flynn Secondary School,
supporting the education of the orphans,
visiting Northern Uganda to share your skills with school children like Marcia Farniok, Mike and Amy Finnegan,
and Pete Truax have done, just having the experience of daily life there.
Know that your presence, your witness and your smile will bring lots of joy to your brothers and sisters in Northern Uganda.
